- Automated Data Collection Tools
A "cookie" is a small data file transferred by a website to your computer's hard drive. VIRTUAL WORKFLOW or its service providers send cookies when users surf our site or sites where our ads appear, request or personalize information, or register for certain services. Accepting the cookies used on our site, sites that are "powered by" another company on VIRTUAL WORKFLOW's behalf, or sites where our ads appear may give us access to information about browsing behavior, which we may use to personalize the user's experience. Cookies are typically classified as either "session" cookies or "persistent" cookies.
- Session cookies do not stay on your computer after you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your computer until you delete them or they expire. Most browsers automatically accept cookies by default, but a user can usually refuse cookies or selectively accept cookies by adjusting the preferences in the browser. If a user turns off cookies, there may be some features of our site that will not be available and some Web pages may not display properly. Information on popular browsers and how to adjust cookie preferences can be found in the help and support section of your browser.
VIRTUAL WORKFLOW and its partners use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website, track users' movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. The redirection system allows VIRTUAL WORKFLOW to change the destination URL of these links, if necessary, and to determine the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives.
In emails, such web links may also allow VIRTUAL WORKFLOW to determine whether a user has clicked a link in an email, and this information about the interaction may be connected to the user's personal identity. If a given user does not want VIRTUAL WORKFLOW to collect information about the links, he/she should direct his/her query to the VIRTUAL WORKFLOW Client he/she interacts with directly.
